Artists I Love – Ashley Taylor

Anyone that knows me knows that I am obsessed with Disney art and artist. I have quite a few pieces (much to the dismay of my boyfriend) hanging around my house and I will be sharing those and others, some Disney, some not, with you in a series of blog posts I am calling Artists I Love.

Today we are focusing on the amazing artwork of Ashley Taylor.

I came across Ashley in late 2013 when my best friend Heather told me about a awesome artist that makes super cute Disney artwork and does weekly art drops (yes, FREE artwork) around the Walt Disney World Resort. Ashley posts a picture on her Instagram of the piece and where she has hidden it in the parks. Then it is up to you to run and find it! You find it and it is yours to keep! How awesome is that?

Heather was lucky enough to be in the Magic Kingdom during one of these art drops and managed to snag a piece of art that features her favorite Disney movie, Mary Poppins!

Since I knew it was going to be a long time before I got back to Florida again, I was super sad knowing that I wouldn’t be able to get my hands on one of these little beauties. It was like Ashley heard my prayers! Not only was she doing the art drops at WDW, she started doing them as giveaways on her Instagram too! I started entering the contests for the pieces I really loved and I was lucky enough to be the winner twice. Here are the pieces that I won on Instagtam:

Ashley also has been featured quite a bit lately on the Disney Parks Blog in a segment they call Disney Doodle.

They are all super cute and I may have a couple saved for myself to use as computer and phone wallpapers =)

Ashley now does art drops at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. So if you plan on being at either of those places, follow her on Instagram and look out for those art drops!
